A busy day of basketball at Huron Arena on Saturday concluded with the Huron Tigers defeating the Pierre Governors, 68-40, to earn a berth in the 2026 State “AA” Boys’ Basketball Tournament in Rapid City.

Earlier in the day, De Smet defeated Deubrook Area, 53-51, and Castlewood defeated Wessington Springs, 55-53, in two intense Region 2B semifinal games that featured four teams ranked in the top 10 of the final Class “B” media poll.
