Huron JV ends season at state

WATERTOWN — Fifth-seeded Sioux Falls West outshot fourth-seeded Huron 58-24 during a 4-2 win in the opening round of the Junior Varsity State Hockey Tournament on Friday in Watertown.
Scoring goals for the All-Stars were Carlos Ardon and Crosby Hartman. Recording assists were Hartman and Oaklee Schnabel.
Kaleb Rashaad had 54 saves for the All-Stars.
In the consolation semifinals Saturday, Brandon Valley inked a 4-3 win against Huron in three overtimes.
Hartman had a pair of goals for Huron, while Quincy Rashaad had a goal. Ardon had a pair of assists, while Maxwell Radke and Jaxon Greenfield each had assists.
Jace Gerber stopped 39 shots for the All-Stars.
