BROOKINGS — The Clark/Willow Lake girls’ track team finished sixth in the Scott Underwood Invitational held Monday at Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex on the campus of South Dakota State University.
Sioux Falls Christian won the girls’ title with 130.2 points, while Spirit Lake (Iowa) was second at 81.2.
Clark/Willow Lake was sixth with 40 points, while Iroquois/Lake Preston had 14 points to finish 16th.
Cadence Bochek was second for Clark/Willow Lake in the 400-meter race at 1:00.06 and was fifth in the 200 at 27.63.
Zoe Nichols was second for the Cyclones in the high jump at 4-10 and was seventh in the 300 hurdles at 50.73. Emma Bochek was fifth in the 300 hurdles at 50.27, while Kamryn Nesheim was fifth in the 800 at 2:23.61.
Clark/Willow Lake was third in the 1,600 relay at 4:10.51, seventh in the 800 relay at 1:53.97, and seventh in the 400 relay at 52.72.
Hadlee Holt won the shot put for Iroquois/Lake Preston with a mark of 42.5.5, while teammate Bentlee Holt was fifth at 35.2.
Spirit Lake claimed the boys’ title with 88.5 points, while Sioux Falls Christian was second at 81.
Clark/Willow Lake was 15th with 15 points, while Miller was 18th at 13.
Isaak Hunter of Miller was second in the 110 hurdles at 15.75 and was fourth in the 300 hurdles at 42.07.
Bo Begeman was third for Clark/Willow Lake in the high jump at 6-0, while Michael Severson was fourth in the shot put.
The Cyclones were sixth in the boys’ 400 relay at 46.45 and eighth in the boys’ 1,600 relay at 3:44.58.
