WINNER — The Sunshine Bible Academy girls’ track team won four events, including three relays, at the Bill Pistulka Invite on Saturday.
Dakota Boersma, Soleil Mickelson, Ciera Mickelson and Tessa Hinman combined to win the 800-meter relay in 1:53.77 for the Crusaders. The same group won the 1,600 relay in 4:24.68 and the medley relay in 4:48.62.
Ciera Mickelson also won the high jump for SBA, clearing 4 feet, 10 inches, while Soleil Mickelson was third at 4-8.
Hinman was third in the 100 at 13.48 seconds, while Boersma was third in the 200 at 28.44.
Karina Wipf was fifth in the 800 at 2:52.66 and sixth in the 400 at 1:13.66.
In the boys’ division, SBA was second in the 3,200 relay with a time of 9:17.76. Members of the tea were Josiah Stiegelmeier, Henrik Wipf, Toby Mickelson and Reagan Sandness.
Tarrence Mickelson, Carter Crump, Toby Mickelson and Josh Wilken were second for the Crusaders in the medley relay at 4:21.91, while Crump, Stiegelmeier, Kooper Sarchet and Sandness were third in the 1,600 relay at 3:53.52.
Avery Hall was fourth for SBA in the 300 hurdles at 54.20, whiel Tarrence Mickelson was fith in the high jump at 5-6.

Highmore-Harrold, Redfield compete in Gettysburg
GETTYSBURG — Highmore-Harrold was seventh, while Redfield tied for 12th in the final girls’ standings during the Battler Invitational on Friday.
Ipswich won the girls’ title, while Timber Lake was second.
Redfield was 13th in the boys’ standings, while Highmore-Harrold tied for spot No. 15.
Groton Area edged Ipswich by a point for the boys’ title.
Autumn Fallis was second for Highmore-Harrold in the girls’ 1,600-meter race at 5:49.97 and was fourth in the 800 at 2:39.16.
Whitley Baloun was sixth for the Pirates in the 300 hurdles at 53.17 and was seventh in the 100 hurdles at 19.19.
Destiny McCauley was second for Highmore-Harrold in the discus at 94-8, while Carly Stephenson was fourth at 87-6 and Addison McDonnell was seventh at 82-9. McDonnell was sixth in the shot put at 28-2 and Stephenson was eighth in the javelin at 78-8.
Highmore-Harrold was fifth in the medley relay at 5:26.86, sixth in the 1,600 relay at 4:36.52 and seventh in the 800 relay at 2:00.81.
Redfield was third in the girls’ 400 relay at 55.85, third in the medley relay at 4:56.50, fifth in the 800 relay at 1:58.48 and seventh in the 1,600 relay at 4:53.14.
Lydia Jungwirth was sixth for Redfield in the 3,200 at 16:23.27, while Addyson Rice was seventh in the 100 at 13.56. Ava McMahon was eighth in the 800 at 2:48.20 and Miley Fey was eighth in the long jump at 14-3.75.
Ryker Bowles was fourth in the 110 hurdles for Redfield at 21.34 and sixth in the 300 hurdles at 55.78.
Grady Hulscher was fifth for the Pheasants in the high jump at 5-2, while Nicholas Becker was eighth in the long ump at 19-0.
Redfield was fifth in the boys’ 800 relay at 1:40.28, sixth in the 400 relay at 47.55 and seventh in the 1,600 relay at 4:03.55.
Brooks McPeak was second for Highmore-Harrold in the 800 at 2:20.56 and sixth in the 1,600 at 5:07.59.
Highmore-Harrold was fourth in the boys’ 1,600 relay at 3:57.36.
