To the editor,
Watching the April 28 news where Trump’s cronies in the Dept of Justice are charging James Coney of advocating in a seashell post of wanting to kill the President. Todd Blanche made that statement on the news. This is the second charge of Comey, after the first one was thrown out for lack of evidence. This is a retaliation charge.
I wonder why Trump pardoned the people who called for hanging Vice President Mike Pence at the Jan. 6 insurrection of our Capitol, which, by the way, many of the people he pardoned have now committed other crimes, some of them now working for ICE.
I understand many of the career prosecutors have been fired or quit because they can’t tolerate what is going on in the DOF.
How many cases are being overlooked so the DOJ can do Trump’s retaliation bidding, and what are these cases costing the American taxpayer? With the debt at $39 trillion and rising every day, you would think they could spend money more wisely.
The government paid Michael Flynn $1.25 million, even after Flynn pled guilty, Carter Page $1.25 million, and the estate of Ashley Babbitt, who was shot by officers trying to enter the House Chambers illegally, $5 million. Meanwhile, the police officers who lost their lives or were wounded or disabled while trying to defend the Capitol have not received anywhere near what the criminals have gotten. It would seem Pres. Trump helped the criminals more than the people who should have gotten compensation.
I wonder why the Republican-controlled Congress cut taxes for the wealthy and cut services to the poor? Maybe Dusty Johnson could answer that?
Trump is suing the government for $10 billion, saying someone released his tax returns, even though almost every president has released their tax returns voluntarily.
