The Huron Service Unit of Girl Scouts held its annual Court of Awards on Sunday, May 3, bringing together scouts, leaders, and families to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year.
Throughout the ceremony, girls were recognized for their hard work by receiving badges and patches they earned through meetings, activities, and service projects. A special part of the event was the bridging ceremony, where several girls moved up to the next Girl Scout level, marking their growth and continued journey in scouting.
Leaders and scouts also shared highlights from the year, reflecting on the many experiences, trips, and projects that helped build skills, confidence, and friendships.
Following the ceremony, everyone stayed to visit and celebrate together while enjoying pop floats, with root beer and orange flavors available.
The Court of Awards continues to be a meaningful tradition, recognizing the dedication of local Girl Scouts and the strong program they are part of in the Huron area.
