BROOKINGS — South Dakota FFA members were recognized for excellence in developing career-specific skills through their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) Proficiency projects at the 98th South Dakota State FFA Convention. Awards were presented during the convention, with all plaques and cash awards for the top three individuals sponsored as a special project of the South Dakota FFA Foundation.

The FFA Agricultural Proficiency Awards recognize members who have developed their skills and abilities through employment, entrepreneurship and placement experiences in agriculture-related fields. Winners from each area will advance to compete at the national level this October.
