Charleigh Brewer of Wessington won the BBR World Finals Shoot Out Race during the BBR World Finals, which is known as the largest sectional barrel race in the world and is hel din Oklahoma City during the end of April. There were more than 3,000 entries in the event.
Brewer also advanced to the Hooey Jr Patriot Rodeo Finals in the goat tying on March 14th in Fort Worth, Texas. She also qualified for the semi finals in the barrel racing, goat tying and breakaway roping which was held at the Will Rogers Coliseum in Ft Worth.
Seven-year-old Baylee Brewer, who is Charleigh’s younger sister, qualified for the short go at the Patriot in Ft. Worth in the open barrel racing.
More than 1,600 barrel racers competed in the event.
