Holy Trinity second graders visit Ingalls homestead

The second graders from Holy Trinity spent a day in DeSmet full of hands-on history! From the Surveyor’s House to wagon rides, butter making, rope twisting, and corncob dolls—plus rolling down hills and a spin on the old merry-go-round. We even learned about Mary’s blindness. Our favorite part was driving the wagon!
