ILLER — The Winner Warriors, who are ranked No. 2 in Class 11B, scored 40 points in the opening quarter en route to a 56-0 victory against Miller/Highmore-Harrold on Monday.
Trevor Peters rushed for 60 yards and a pair of touchdown to lead the Warriors, who had a total of 208 yards rushing and no passing yards.
Miller/Highmore-Harrold quarterback Peyton McDonald had 12 carries for 29 yards and was 3 of 7 passing for 34 yards. Chase Cermak had two catches for 31 yards, while Owen Fritzsche.
Colby Werdel had 7.5 tackles to lead the Rustlers defensively.
The game wrapped up the regular season for both teams. Winner improved to 8-0, while Miller/Highmore-Harrold ends the season at 0-8.
