Participants from Violet Tschetter Memorial Home and SunQuest Healthcare Center took to the street Wednesday afternoon, for the annual Alzheimer’s Awareness Walk.
According to SunQuest social worker Jenny Sorben, the purpose of the walk is to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s and other dementia-type afflictions, while also raising funds for further research.
Donations are welcome - make checks payable to the Alzheimer’s Association of South Dakota, and mail to SunQuest Healthcare Center, 1345 Michigan Ave. S.W., Huron, S.D. 57350.
