Students in the 4’s class at Kindernook Preschool culminated their apple unit with a field trip to an orchard at the home of Rodney and Beckie Freeman. They enjoyed sipping sweet and delicious cider, which they made from pressing apples. Students were also treated to apple cookies, ringing a bell to call the cows, a video about the life of Johnny Appleseed, a ride in an antique apple cart, and a shiny apple upon boarding the bus.
