Huron was hopping this past weekend, with activities planned throughout the city on Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, pet owners and other supporters of the Beadle County Humane Society participated in the “Paws at the Lake” dog walk fundraiser event, dodging raindrops while getting out and about with man’s (and woman’s) best friend.
The continued harsh weather forced an abbreviated Open Day Ceremonies as Huron Little League kicked off its season as well on Saturday. More raindrops were dodged as the season got underway.
Then on Sunday, the sun came out for the Coborn’s Kick Off to Summer event, featuring a car show, bouncy house and many other activities for the entire family.
