HURON — Aberdeen Central recorded a sweep against the Huron eighth-grade volleyball team on Thursday.

The Golden Eagles won the A-match 25-13 and 25-10.

Reagan Bischoff led the Tigers, who are now 5-2, with three kills on 9 of 10 spikes. Maggie Storm had two kills on 4 of 6 attacks, while Claire Davis was 2 of 3 hitting with a kill.

Davis also was 6 of 6 serving with an ace, while Piper DeJean had an ace on 2 of 3 serves. Storm was perfect on seven serves.

DeJean and Bischoff each had three assists for Huron. DeJean had eight blocks and Bischoff had seven blocks.

Aberdeen Central claimed the B-match 25-16 and 25-10.

Maritz Hernandea Colchado and Kayla Nunez each had a kill for the Tigers. Isabella Fechner had a pair of aces and Olivia Tschetter had an ace.

Huron will host Pierre on Monday.
