HURON — A significant reduction in active cases in Friday’s South Dakota Department of Health (DOH) numbers across the state also led to a notable active case reduction in Beadle County and the region.
The state recorded 448 new positive cases, 1,270 new recovered cases, and 12 new deaths in Friday’s DOH numbers. Active cases in the state dropped to 5,241.
Beadle County added three new positive cases and 15 new recovered cases. The active cases in the county dropped to 67.
Active cases in the seven-county Heartland Region dropped to 164. Three of the seven counties in the region have ten or less active cases in the county.
