REDFIELD — Allan Arthur Marlow, 82, of Redfield,  passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018, at the Redfield Care and Rehabilitation Center in Redfield.  
Following Allan’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.  
Allan Arthur Marlow was born April 6, 1936, in Redfield to Harold and Gladys (Larson) Marlow. After graduating from Redfield High School in 1955, he worked at Redfield Dairy.  He attended school in Minnesota where he became a welder. He then worked with NorthWestern Public Service (NorthWestern Energy) until his retirement.  
In his spare time, Allan liked to hunt and fish. Car racing was another favorite pastime. He spent over 20 years helping his son, Dave build race cars and supporting him at the track.   
He is survived by his son, David (Stacey) Marlow of Redfield; his grandchildren, Melissa “Missy” Tompkins of Huron, Jason (Samantha) Marlow of Redfield, and Erick (Allison) Marlow of Redfield; two great-granddaughters, Braelyn Tompkins and Thea Marlow; siblings, Jim (Marlys) Marlow of Rapid City, Kay (Bill) Green of Fairfield, Calif., and Larry (Carol) Marlow of South Lake Tahoe, Calif.  
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Deanna “Dee” Tompkins in 2003.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hyke Funeral Home of Redfield.
