HURON — The Delta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International will be providing apples to the educators at Huron High School Monday in honor of American Education Week.
It’s a small way to say thank you for their work with students.
During this year’s American Education Week — Nov. 12-16 — millions of educators, parents, students, and community leaders will join the National Education Association (NEA) in raising awareness about the critical need to provide every child with a quality public education.
The American Education Week’s theme is, “Great Public Schools: A Basic Right and Our Responsibility.” The theme represents NEA’s vision of calling upon all Americans to do their part in making public schools great for every child so that they can grow and achieve in the 21st century.
