FEDORA — Ardell W. Donahue, 89, of Fedora, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018, at the Good Samaritan Society in Howard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 30,  at St. Agatha Catholic Church in Howard. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at Howard. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at St. Agatha Catholic Church with a prayer service and rosary to be held at 7 p.m.
Ardell William Donahue was born February 24, 1928, near Fedora to Benjamin and Margaret (Gaspard) Donahue. He graduated from Fedora High School in 1945. He was united in marriage to Beverley Bauer November 30, 1957, in Carthage.
He farmed for most of his life and was a salesman for Pride Seed Corn. He was active as a township board member, the Fedora Alumni Association and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife; children, Pat (Kristi) of Winner, Doug (Judy) of Rapid City, Bryan (Dawn) of Fedora, Joel of Mitchell, Bernard (Brenda) of Fedora, Mike (Julie) of Clear Lake, Kerry (Cindy) of Dimock, Susan (Jim) Nelson of League City, Texas, and Shelly Moga of Spring, Texas; 31 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Darlene; brother-in-law, Don Scott; and many nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Wilmer, Bernard, LaVera Casey, and MaDonna Scott; sister-in-law, Betty; and brothers-in-law, Jerry Casey, and Daryl Weable.
