HURON — Several area athletes have been named to the 2020 South Dakota High School Track and Field Academic All-State Team, which is handed out by the South Dakota Cross Country and Track & Field Coaches Association.
In order to be named to the team, an athlete must be a senior, have participated in the sport for at least three years, have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, and be nominated by their head coach.
Those earning the honor were:
Clark/Willow Lake — Stone Burke
DeSmet — Baylor Beck, Reyna Beck, Andrew Holland, Emily Martens, Autumn Wilkinson
Miller — Kayde Fernholz, Abby Ketelhut
