De Smet 51, Canistota 39
DE SMET – The third-ranked De Smet Bulldogs survived a defensive battle with the Canistota Hawks Thursday 51-39 in De Smet.

Damon Wilkinson recorded a double-double for the Bulldogs with 17 points and 15 rebounds. Kadyn Fast added 12 points for the Bulldogs, now 11-2.

Tage Ortman bucketed 19 points to lead Canistota (6-5). Brandon Kjetland grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Hawks.

The Bulldogs host Colman-Egan tonight.

James Valley Christian 84, Miller 51

MILLER – The James Valley Christian Vikings blew open the game in the second quarter to defeat the Miller Rustlers 84-51 in Miller Thursday.

Dax Frandsen led four Vikings in double figures with 20 points. Isaac Korell pitched in 19 points, Landon Wallman added 17 points, and Landon Wager scored 11 points for JVC, who moves to 9-2.

Miller falls to 5-5. Alex Schumacher scored 13 points to lead the Rustlers. Spencer Fernholz chipped in 11 points and Isaak Hunter added 10 points.

The Vikings travel to Lake Preston to Iroquois/Lake Preston Saturday while the Rustlers host Wessington Springs Saturday.

Wolsey-Wessington 77, Highmore-Harrold 51

HIGHMORE – Four scorers reached double figures for the Wolsey-Wessington Lady Warbirds as they recorded a road victory over the Highmore-Harrold Pirates 77-51 Tuesday in Highmore.

Mya Boomsma led the Lady Warbirds (11-2) with 22 points. Leah Williams added 21 points, Mallory Miller chipped in 16 points, and Taylor Horn contributed 12 points for Wolsey-Wessington.

Miller led the Lady Warbirds with six rebounds while Williams led W-W with six assists and five steals.

Highmore-Harrold fell to 2-10. Reghan Westcott and Addison McDonnell each scored 12 points to lead the Pirates.

The Lady Warbirds travel to White Lake to play Kimball/White Lake on Tuesday while the Pirates travel to play Sunshine Bible Academy.
