Sanborn Central-Woonsocket 75, Iroquois-Doland 27
WOONSOCKET — The Sanborn Central-Woonsocket Blackhawks scored early and often Tuesday night, sprinting to an  early lead and coasting home with a 75-27 win over the Iroquois-Doland Lady Chiefs in 281 Conference girls’ basketball action.
Trista White led a trio of Blackhawks in the scorebook with 17 points in the game, as Teya Moody chipped in 15 off the bench and Mariah Jost added 10. Taylor Lindsey led SC-W with six rebounds.
The Lady Chiefs got 11 points and seven rebounds from Katie Dubro on the night. Iroquois-Doland falls to 2-14 on the season and will host Hitchcock-Tulare on Thursday.
Sanborn Central-Woonsocket, now 8-9, is on the road at Highmore-Harrold on Friday.

Flandreau 46, De Smet 37
DE SMET - Flandreau jumped out in the second quarter and then stifled the De Smet attack to take the win Tuesday night 46-37.
The Lady Bulldogs, ranked third in the most recent media poll in Class “B”, fell to the Fliers who are not ranked in Class “A”, but they are receiving votes.
Flandreau was led by Hannah Parsley, who bucketed a game-high 20 points. Maria Parsley joined Hannah in double figures scoring with 10 points. Tishara Hardy grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Fliers, who moved to 12-2 on the season with the victory.
The Lady Bulldogs fall to 14-3 despite a double-double from Kennadi Buchholz, who scored 10 points and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds. Reyna Beck led De Smet with 13 points.
De Smet takes on Corsica-Stickney on Friday as part of the Dakota Wesleyan University Girls Classic in Mitchell.

HIGHMORE — Hitchcock-Tulare improved to 4-1 in the 281 Conference with a 56-48 victory against Highmore-Harrold on Monday.
After leading by just a point heading into the final quarter, the Lady Patriots, who are 13-4, held on for the victory.
Elizabeth Salmen had a game-high 26 points to lead Hitchcock-Tulare, while Dannyn Peterson added 13 points. Salmen and Peterson shared the rebounding honors with eight boards each, while Kenidee Enander had three assists.
Oakley Jandreau led Highmore-Harrold with 16 points and nine rebounds. Letha Jessen also reached double figures with 14 points and had four assists, while Kassie Hale added nine points.
Hitchcock-Tulare will travel to face Iroquois/Doland in Iroquois on Thursday. Highmore-Harrold will host Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on Friday.

HITCHCOCK — The Highmore-Harrold Pirates jumped out to a 19-3 lead over the Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots Tuesday night and the deficit proved to be too much to overcome for the Pats, as the Pirates took a 68-47 win in 281 Conference boys’ basketball.
Dylan McDonnell scored 19 points and handed out eight assists in the game to lead the Pirates, who improve to 6-9 with the win. Rem Paynter added 10 points and eight rebounds while both Telson Cowan and Owen Fritzsche each tallied 10 points as well for Highmore-Harrold.
Logan Gilbert led all scores with 21 points for Hitchcock-Tulare and also grabbed eight rebounds in the game, as the Patriots fall to 1-14 with the loss.
H-T travels to Iroquois Thursday night, while Highmore Harrold faces Sanborn Central-Woonsocket on Friday.

WAVERLY — Waverly-South Shore used a 21-9 run in the third quarter to pull away for a 70-43 victory against Iroquois/Doland on Monday.
Aden Comes had 18 points to lead the Coyotes, who are now 6-8, to the victory. Sam Dalton and Austin Appelhof added 12 and 10 points, respectively.
Appelhof also had team-high totals of 13 rebounds, eight assists and seven steals for Waverly-South Shore.
Brandon Decker connected on five 3-pointers en route to 16 points to lead the Chiefs, who are also now 6-8. Kiestan Dubro added 15 points.
Shawn Diehl had six rebounds for Iroquois/Doland, while Decker had five assists and Dubro had two steals.
