Herreid/Selby Area 62, Sunshine Bible Academy 6
MILLER — The Herreid/Selby Wolverines pushed their season record to 4-0 Friday afternoon, with a mercy-rule shortened 62-6 win over the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders in non-conference football action.

The Wolverines rolled up 387 yards in two quarters of action, as Trey Sayler ran for 119 yards and two touchdowns on five carries. Tray Hattick was 6-8 through the air for 218 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

While the H/S offense was stout, the Wolverine defense scored three times in the game, Brenden Begeman had two interception returns for scores and Hunter Friend returned a fumble for a score.

SBA’s lone score came on an 84-yard interception return by Nolan Triebwasser that kept the Crusaders in the game late in the first half.

For the game, the Crusaders amassed 30 yards in total offense. Triebwasser ran for 10 yards on 15 carries and was 3-9 through the air for 20 yards and three interceptions.
