De Smet 72, Dell Rapids St. Mary 37
DELL RAPIDS — De Smet, which moved up one spot to third in the Class B girls’ basketball rankings, cruised to a 72-37 victory against Dell Rapids St. Mary on Monday.
The Lady Bulldogs, who improved to 4-1, led 44-20 at the half en route to the victory.
Kristen Poppen had 23 points to lead De Smet, while Autumn Wilkinson added 11 points. Raegan Burke and Gianna Janssen each had 10 points.
Clare Kiehn had 14 points to lead the Cardinals, who are now 3-2. Ella Heinitz and Maddie Schwebach added 12 and seven points, respectively.
The Lady Bulldogs are now off until Jan. 2, when they travel to play Miller.

Menno 59, Iroquois 12
MITCHELL — Menno, which sits just outside the top five in the Class B girls’ basketball rankings, cruised to a 59-12 victory against Iroquois at the Corn Palace in Mitchell on Monday.
The Wolves held Iroquois scores in the opening quarter to build a 27-0 lead and led 43-5 at the half.
Paige Heckenlaible and Kiara Nusz each had 11 points to lead Menno, which improved to 4-0. Morgan Edelman and Ashton Vaith added 10 and nine points, respectively.
Nusz had nine rebounds to help the Wolves to a 31-21 advantage on the boards. Eisley Sayler had three assists and Vaith had four steals.
Katie Dubro had five points to lead Iroquois (0-3), while Allie Diehl had three points. Kaitlyn Mass had five rebounds.
The Lady Chiefs are now off until Dec. 29, when they will face Lower Brule at 11:30 a.m. in the Huron Holiday Classic at Huron Arena.

Kimball/White Lake 52, JVC 23
WHITE LAKE — After leading 26-13 at the half, Kimball/White Lake outscored James Valley Christian 17-2 in the third quarter en route to a 52-23 victory on Saturday.
Carly Beckmann and Kennedy Leiferman each had 14 points to lead the Wildkats, who improved to 2-1. Leiferman also had team highs with 10 rebounds and four assists, while Heather Munsen had six steals.
Avery Schumaker led the Lady Vikings with nine points, while Rebekah Williams had seven points.
Schumaker and Summer Gross each had five rebounds for JVC, which is now 1-3. Williams had a pair of assists.
The Lady Vikings will travel to play Ethan today.

Clark-Willow Lake 54, Britton-Hecla 18
CLARK — Clark-Willow Lake earned its first win of the season with a 54-18 victory against Britton-Hecla on Friday.
With 22 points in the opening quarter, the Cyclones would have enough points to earn the win. They went on to lead 35-8 at the half en route to the its first win in three games.
Janae Kolden led Clark-Willow Lake with 16 points, while Taylor Hartley had 11 points. Abbie Bratland and Charity Kabwe added eight and seven points, respectively.
Peris Fellows and Brianna Beck were the only players to reach the scoring column for Britton-Hecla with 10 and eight points, respectively.
The Cyclones will host Hamlin in Willow Lake on Thursday.
