HIGHMORE - The Highmore-Harrold Pirates swept the Stanley County Lady Buffaloes in Highmore Friday 25-9, 25-11, 25-14.

The Pirates move to 15-3 with the win behind a strong serving night from Grace Knox, who was 17 of 17 from the service line with four aces. Knox was also 14 of 16 attacking with eight kills.

Haley Husted led Highmore-Harrold with 13 kills on 17 of 19 attacking. Courtney Moser set up the Pirate attack with 30 assists while Kassie Hale had five digs to lead the Pirate defense.

Stanley County falls to 4-14 with the loss.

The Pirates close out the season Tuesday at Miller.

Redfield 3, Webster Area 2
REDFIELD - The Redfield Pheasants came out victorious in a five-set struggle against the Webster Area Bearcats 25-17, 14-25, 25-10, 21-25, 15-7.

The Pheasants move to 9-8 on the season with the victory. Addie Rozell led the Pheasants with 13 kills on 36 of 37 attacking. Rozell added two blocks, 18 digs, and was also 15 of 16 serving with a pair of aces.

Camryn Rohlfs keyed the Redfield offense with 23 assists while Courtney Turck led the team with 22 digs.

The Bearcats (10-6) were led by a strong defensive effort from Emily Richie with 29 digs.

Brianna Duerre led the Bearcats with six kills on 21 of 22 attacking, while Elliott Steiner paced the Webster offense with nine assists.

Redfield won the JV match 2-1 while Webster won the C match 2-0.

Redfield travels to Wolsey-Wessington tonight.

Clark/Willow Lake 3, Tiospa Zina 0
CLARK - After coasting in the first set, the Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones struggled through two more sets to take the three-set sweep over the Tiospa Zina Wambdi in Clark Friday night 25-9, 25-23, 29-27.

Morgan Burke paced the Cyclone (11-9) offense with 39 assists. Burke also added 24 digs on the night.

Erica Juntunen led the Clark/Willow Lake hitting with 15 kills on 30 of 36 attacks. Juntunen also was 13 of 15 from the service line with three aces.

Mackenzie Tormanen added 11 kills on 25 of 28 attacks.

Allison Kannegieter dug out 26 balls to lead the Cyclones.

Tiospa Zina fell to 2-10 with the loss.

The Cyclones won the JV match 2-0.

Clark/Willow Lake travels to Sisseton tonight.

Bridgewater-Emery 3, Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 0
FORESTBURG - The Class B fourth-ranked Bridgewater-Emery Huskies came into Forestburg Friday and swept the Blackhawks of Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 25-13, 25-23, 25-22.

The Huskies moved to 17-2 with the win behind a strong game from Julia Weber, who led the team with 10 kills, 17 digs, three blocks, and four aces.

Kerrigan Schultz set up the Bridgewater-Emery offense with 25 assists. Cara Meyer added 11 digs.

The Blackhawks fell to 7-12 after the loss despite a strong backcourt game from Morgan Schmiedt, who set the offense with 18 assists and added 13 digs and a pair of service aces.

Trista White led the Blackhawks with 18 digs and eight kills.

Cassidy Slykhuis also had eight kills and led the team with three blocks.

The Blackhawks travel to Howard tonight.

Warner 3, Hitchcock-Tulare 2

TULARE - In a potential postseason tune-up, the Hitchcock-Tulare Lady Patriots lost a heartbreaking five-set match to the second-ranked Warner Monarchs on Saturday in Tulare 22-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-17, 15-10.

Warner, who’s 17-1 record is only blemished with a loss to top-ranked Northwestern, were led by a strong hitting game from Jennifer Aman, who was 54 of 69 on the attack with 26 kills.

Ava Nilsson keyed the Monarch offense with 40 assists and also was a force serving, going 30 of 30 from the service line with five aces. Kyra Marcuson was 13 of 13 serving with three aces.

Courtney Bjorgaard paced the Warner defense with 27 digs. Peyton Fisher added 22 digs while Kendyl Anderson added 10 kills on 30 of 34 attacks.
Hitchcock-Tulare, receiving votes in the most recent volleyball media poll, fell to 14-4 with the loss despite a strong game from Katelyn Schroeder, who led

the team with 10 kills on 27 of 30 attacks and 22 digs.

Kenidee Enander set up the Lady Patriot offense with 33 assists. Cassidy Johnson was 11 of 14 from the service line with five aces. Madison Hofer added 19 digs.

Warner won the JV match 2-0.

The Lady Patriots close their regular season on the road at Wessington Springs Tuesday.

Hitchcock-Tulare 3, Sully Buttes 0
TULARE - The Hitchcock-Tulare Lady Patriots swept Sully Buttes on Friday night in Tulare 25-16, 25-15, 25-15.

The Lady Patriots move to 14-3 with the victory behind a strong service night for Kenidee Enander, who went 24 of 26 from the service line with eight aces. She also keyed the Hitchcock-Tulare offense with 20 assists.

Madison Hofer led the Lady Patriots defense with 13 digs while Danynn Peterson led the team in hitting with eight kills on 18 of 19 attacks.

The Chargers (4-10) were led by Tailynn Bradford, who posted a pair of aces on 9 of 10 serving while pacing the team with 11 assists and adding 13 digs.

Allyson Wittler (16 of 20 attacks) and Stevie Wittler (15 of 19 attacks) led Sully Buttes with six kills apiece. Gracie Olivier led the team with 16 digs.
Sully Buttes won the JV match 2-1.
