TULARE - The top-rated and undefeated Warner Monarchs swept the Hitchcock-Tulare Lady Patriots Tuesday in Tulare.

Set scores for Warner were 25-12, 25-17, and 25-16.

The Monarchs move to 29-0 behind 14 kills and three blocks from Kyleigh Schopp. Lauren Marcuson was 26 of 29 hitting with 11 kills while also leading the team with four aces on 13 of 13 serving.

Ava Nilsson was 10 of 12 with three aces while also setting up the Warner offense with 38 assists on 77 of 79 sets.

Lila Johnson led the Lady Patriots, now 18-6, with six kills on 19 of 21 hitting and 13 assists on 60 of 61 setting.

Katelyn Schroeder added seven kills on 18 of 21 hitting while also leading H-T with nine digs.

Warner also swept the JV match, 3-0.

The Lady Patriots host Miller in Tulare on Thursday.

Miller 3, Mount Vernon-Plankinton 0
MILLER - The Milelr Rustlers moved to 18-4 on the season with a 25-20, 25-18, and 25-22 sweep of the Mount Vernon-Plankinton Titans Tuesday at the Miller Armory.

Aleah Schlechter led the Rustlers with 16 kills on 34 of 38 hitting while Shaylee Anderberg was 35 of 36 hitting with 15 kills. Heather Resel was 22 of 23 serving and also 39 of 41 setting with 32 assists.

Jolie Palmer led the Miller defense with 26 digs.

The Titans fell to 11-8 despite 11 kills from Madalynn Lorang’s 11 kills and 24 digs and two service aces from Berkeley Engelland.

The Rustlers travel to Tulare to play Hitchcock-Tulare Thursday.

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 0
MILLER — The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Blackhawks dominated play throughout Tuesday night, handing the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders a 3-0 defeat in 281 Conference volleyball action.

Set scores for SC/W, now 9-11, were 25-18, 25-10 and 25-12,

The Blackhawks were led by Kenna Ochsner’s 10 kills and two aces, while Liz Boschee added nine kills. Kenzie Schley passed out 22 assists and had 13 digs, while both Kali Hofer and Whitney Hagman added 10 digs.

SBA got three kills each from Sadie Konechne and Annalise VanZee, while Abby Hinman had three assists and Kennedy Keck had five digs.

The Crusaders, now 1-17, will take on Iroquois/Lake Preston Thursday in Iroquois, while SC/W host Tripp-Delmont/Armour in Woonsocket, also on Thursday.

James Valley Christian 3, Oldham-Ramona-Rutland 2
HURON - The James Valley Christian Lady Vikings defeated the Oldham-Ramona Rutland Raiders at the JVC gym Thursday three sets to two.

Set scores for the Lady Vikings were 25-21, 15-25, 22-25, 25-19 and 15-3.

The Lady Vikings move to 13-9 behind Kaylie Robinson’s 13 digs on 43 of 47 hitting. Cora Hofer added 12 kills on 49 of 52 hitting and also had four blocks.

Daril Frandsen set up the JVC offense with 22 assists on 80 of 84 setting. Alexa Goertz keyed the Lady Vikings defense with seven blocks while Andee Frandeen had 57 digs.

The Raiders fall to 6-11 behind 17 kills and 26 digs from Julia Trygstad. Alivia Bickett had 10 kills, 25 digs, and four service aces.

JVC is off until traveling to Estelline/Hendricks Tuesday.
