IROQUOIS — Wolsey-Wessington claimed a 3-0 sweep over Iroquois-Doland in Class B girls’ volleyball action Tuesday night at Iroquois.
Set scores for Wolsey-Wessington are 25-20, 25-12 and 25-4, as the team improved to a season record of 12-4 with the win. Iroquois-Doland fell to a 2-18 record with the loss.
Chantel Haider led Wolsey-Wessington with six aces, Lizzi Brandt served four more, while Mya Boomsma hit 10 kills.
Leading Iroquois-Doland was Harley Nelson with an ace, while Katie Dubro hit four kills.
Wolsey-Wessington will host Highmore-Harrold on Tuesday, while Iroquois is set to face Sunshine Bible Academy on Thursday.

MILLER — The Miller Rustlers swept the Mt. Vernon-Plankinton Titans, 3-0, in Class A girls’ volleyball action Tuesday at Miller.
Set scores for Miller, now 15-1 on the season, are 25-21, 25-12 and 27-25.
Kadye Fernholz led the Rustlers with 18 kills, VonnaGail Schlechter hit ten more for the win, while Storm Johnsen served two aces.
Leading the Titans, now 10-5 on the season with the loss, were Reagan Klooz with two aces and Katlyn Briggs with 14 kills.
Miller will travel to St. Michael Minn., on Friday, while Mt. Vernon-Plankinton head to Chamberlain Thursday.

WOLSEY — Three players reached double figures hitting kills en route to a 3-1 victory for the Warner Monarchs against hosting team, Wolsey-Wessington Lady Warbirds, in Class B girls’ volleyball action on Monday.
Set scores for the Monarchs, now with an improved record of 14-9 on the season were 25-12, 20-25, 25-18 and 25-20, while the Lady Warbirds fell to 11-4 will the loss.
Warner’s Danille Seymour and Jennifer Aman led the game with 17 kills each, Summer Scepaniak served four aces for the team, while Ava Nilsson had three aces.
Carly Marani led Wolsey-Wessington with 11 kils, while Lizzi Brandt had the only ace for the team as well as three kills.
Wolsey-Wessington will host Highmore-Harrold on Tuesday, while Warner is set to travel to Waverly on Monday.
