WOLSEY — Carly Marani tallied 18 kills for the Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds en route to a 3-1 victory over the James Valley Christian Lady Vikings in Region 3B volleyball action Tuesday at Wolsey.
The Warbirds, now 20-7 on the season, will take on Estelline-Hendricks tonight for a chance at the SoDak 16, while James Valley Christian ended its season with a 14-11 record. Set scores for Wolsey-Wessington were 25-11, 13-25, 25-13 and 25-20.
Lizzi Brandt totaled two aces and 11 kills for the Warbirds, while Marani added two more aces.
Leading the Lady Vikings was Brenna Held with 11 kills and one ace, while Angelina Zuccaro had one ace and hit eight kills.
