Corsica-Stickney 3, James Valley Christian 0
HURON – The Corsica-Stickney Jaguars came into James Valley Christian Thursday and left with a sweep 26-24, 25-21, and 25-15.

The Jaguars move to 3-6 behind a strong game from Morgan Clites, who served up four aces and also led the defense with 16 digs. Sutten Eide keyed a balanced Jaguar attack with 28 assists while also adding 16 digs on defense.

The Lady Vikings fall to 0-4 despite 14 kills from Brenna Held. Karilyn Wieting set up the offense with 30 assists and added 11 digs. Colleen Wipf led the defense with 26 digs.

Wolsey-Wessington 3, Hitchcock-Tulare 0
WOLSEY – The top-ranked Wolsey-Wessington Lady Warbirds continued their unbeaten season, sweeping the Hitchcock-Tulare Lady Patriots in Wolsey Thursday night.

Set scores were 25-19, 28-26, and 25-13.

The Lady Warbirds move to 4-0 behind a dominant night from Mya Boomsma who had game-high totals with 19 kills and 16 digs. Lainey Uttecht and Leah Williams each registered 15 digs while Kailynn Dorris had eight blocks.

Katelyn Schroeder nailed 15 kills and had a pair of service aces for the Lady Patriots (1-4). Shandi Chasing Hawk set up the offense with 20 assists and Madison Hofer paced the defense with 14 digs.

Redfield 3, Deuel 1
CLEAR LAKE — Camryn Rohlfs had five aces and 30 assists to help Redfield to a 3-1 victory against Deuel on Thursday.

After being edged 26-24 in the opening set, Redfield rallied with set wins of 25-20, 25-19 and 27-25.

Gracie Fast led Redfield with 17 kills, while Denae Paulson had eight kills. Ashleyn Clausen and Rohlfs finished with 16 and 12 digs, respectively, while Katie Rozell had two solo blocks and Mallory Smith had a pair of aces.

Haley Winter led Deuel with 18 kills and three aces. Emma Hamann and Josie Andersen each had five kills.

Gracie Fieber and Alyson Hagberg each had 16 assists. Andersen  had a team-high 24 digs.

Ipswich 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 0
IPSWICH – The Ipswich Tigers swept the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders Thursday in Ipswich.
Set scores were 25-11, 25-4, and 25-14.

The Tigers move to 5-1 behind 12 kills from Grace Lange on 20 of 23 hitting. Quincy Olivier was 18 of 19 from the service line for Ipswich with four aces and 49 of 49 setting with 17 assists.

The Crusaders fall to 0-4.

Ipswich swept the JV match 25-9, 25-10 and also won the C match 2-1 by scores of 25-13, 25-20, and 15-9.

Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 3, Mitchell Christian 0
FORESTBURG – The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Blackhawks used scores of 25-5, 25-7, and 25-9 to breeze through a sweep of the Mitchell Christian Golden Eagles Thursday night in Forestburg.

The Blackhawks used a dominant serving evening as a team to pull off the victory, nailing 26 aces on the night. Kenna Ochsner was 12 of 12 from the service line with five aces while Trista White was 10 of 10 with four aces.

Brooke Doering led the Sanborn Central/Woonsocket hitting attack with eight kills while Teya Moody keyed the offense with 12 assists to help the Blackhawks to a 6-1 record.

Mitchell Christian drops to 0-4 with the loss. Kelsey Holdeman had nine digs and two kills to lead the Golden Eagles.

The Blackhawks are back on the court Saturday in Wolsey as part of the Wolsey-Wessington tournament.

Highmore-Harrold 3, Iroquois-Doland 1
HIGHMORE – The Highmore-Harrold Pirates took a 281 Conference victory at home over the Iroquois-Doland Lady Chiefs 3-1 Thursday. Set scores were 25-18, 22-25, 25-13, and 25-11.

The Pirates move to 4-1 behind a big game from Letha Jessen with 20 kills.

Reghan Westcott was 27 of 28 serving with eight aces.

Iroquois-Doland falls to 0-5.

Harley Nelson led the Lady Chiefs with six kills, seven assists, and seven digs.

Highmore-Harrold is back on the court at the Phillip Tournament Saturday and the Lady Chiefs play against Oldham-Ramona/Rutland Tuesday.

Redfield 3, Leola/Frederick Area 0
FREDERICK — Using set wins of 25-15, 25-19 and 25-20, Redfield swept Leola/Frederick Area on Tuesday.

Gracie Fast converted on 20 of 24 attacks and finished with 12 kills to lead the Lady Pheasants, who improved to 3-1. Katie Rozell had seven kills on 17 of 19 hitting. Camryn Rohlfs was 76 of 76 setting with 19 assists.

Chelsea Smith was 16 of 17 serving with three aces for Redfield, while Denae Paulsen and Annie Smith each had nine digs.

Alyx Hoffman had five kills on 15 of 17 spikes for Leola/Frederick Area, while Chloe Arneson was 13 of 15 with three kills. Jocelynn Ellwein was 70 of 70 setting with seven assists.

Ellwein also was perfect on eight serves with four aces for the Titans, who are now 2-7. Olivia Morlock and Hannah Johnson had 20 and 17 digs, respectively.
