Clark/Willow Lake 3, Wilmot 1
CLARK — After taking a 2-0 lead, Clark/Willow Lake emerged with a 3-1 victory against Wilmot on Saturday.

The Cyclones, who are now 3-8, opened with set wins 25-16 and 26-24, before Wilmot forced the fourth set with a 25-21 win. Clark/Willow Lake then closed the match with a 25-12 decision in the final set.

Summer Seefeldt led the way for the Cyclones with nine kills. Sara Thonvold had seven kills and Haylee Tormannen and Macy Steen added five and four kills, respectively.

Logan Hurlbert converted on 96 of 102 sets for Clark/Willow Lake. Emmah Mitchel had 47 digs, while Seefeldt finished with 23 digs.

Paige Johnson and Ashlyn Ebben each had five kills for Wilmot. Ebben also had two aces on 14 of 15 serving, while Kayla Hamman was 10 of 10 serving with an ace.

Maddie Remund was 36 of 46 setting and had a team-high 10 digs for the Wolves.

Clark/Willow Lake returns to action today, when it faces Lake Preston in Willow Lake.
