Miller 3, Redfield 1
MILLER – The Miller Rustlers evened their season record at 6-6 with a 3-1 victory over the Redfield Pheasants Tuesday in Miller.

Set scores were 23-25, 25-22, 25-20, and 25-20.

The Rustlers were led by Ally Mullaney who went 39 of 41 on the attack with 18 kills. Jaden Werdel was 37 of 38 attacking with 11 kills.

Tyra Gates set up the Miller offense with 42 assists and also added 18 digs.

Payton Kilker led the Miller defense with 21 digs.

The Pheasants fall to 8-4 despite a strong night from Camryn Rohlfs, who led the Redfield offense with 24 assists and also had three aces from the service line.

Denae Paulson led the Pheasant defense with 12 digs and was one of three Pheasants attackers with seven kills to lead the team along with Katie Rozell and Gracie Fast.

Redfield hosts Britton-Hecla Thursday while the Rustlers are back in action Saturday at the Central South Dakota Conference tournament at Onida.

Wessington Springs 3, Tripp-Delmont/Armour 1
WESSINGTON SPRINGS — Wessington Springs improved to 6-4 with a 3-1 win against Tripp-Delmont/Armour on Monday. The set scores were 25-23, 25-20, 21-25 and 28-26.

Sarah Poncelow had 10 kills to lead the Lady Spartans. Avery Orth and Carissa Scheel added eight and five kills, respectively. Scheel and Ashlyn Weber each had three aces.

Alyssa Grohs tallied 31 assists and had 20 digs for Wessington Springs, while Raylee Fagerhaugh had a team-high 30 digs. Orth had seven blocks, while Poncelow had six blocks.

Megan Reiner had team-highs with 18 kills, three blocks and 20 digs for Tripp-Delmont/Armour. Hannah Stremick had 43 assists and an ace, while Reiner also had an ace.

Wessington Springs will host Lower Brule on Thursday.
