Wolsey-Wessington 3, James Valley Christian 0
WOLSEY - The Wolsey-Wessington Lady Warbirds swept a 281 Conference matchup against the James Valley Christian Lady Vikings on Thursday in Wolsey.

Set scores for the Lady Warbirds (10-2) were 25-10, 25-23, and 25-16.

Samara Clemente was impressive at the net for W-W with 10 kills on 20 of 21 attacks as well as four blocks.

Kailynn Dorris also had 10 kills on 32 of 39 serving and contributed a pair of service aces, going 15 of 15 serving.

Shae Uttecht had 25 digs for the Lady Warbirds while Kendal Uttecht was 56 of 61 setting with 19 assists.

The Lady Vikings (5-8) had six kills and nine blocks from Cora Hofer. Andee Fransen had 43 digs.

JVC will host a tournament Saturday while Wolsey-Wessington will travel to Faulkton for the Central South Dakota Conference Tournament Saturday.

Clark/Willow Lake 3, Deuel 2
CLEAR LAKE - The Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones survived a grueling five-set match to earn 3-2 victory over the Deuel Cardinals Thursday in Clear Lake.

Set scores for the Cyclones, now 5-9, were 26-24, 21-25, 25-19, 18-25, and 15-11.

Deuel falls to 5-7 despite 10 kills each from Josie Andersen and Emma Sattler. Andersen also added 19 assists to pace the Cardinals.

The Cyclones will be on the road Tuesday against De Smet.

Sully Buttes 3, Sunshine Bible Academy 0
MILLER - The Sully Buttes Chargers traveled into the SBA Event Center Thursday and came away with a sweep over the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders by scores of 25-20, 25-13, and 25-21.

The Chargers move to 8-6 with the victory.

The Crusaders fall to 1-9 despite 17 points from the service line from Sadie Konechne. Kennedy Keck accounted for 12 points from the service line along with six digs.

Abby Hinman paced the SBA offense with 36 assists and Annaliese VanZee led the attack with five kills.

SBA travels to Faulkton Saturday for the Central South Dakota Conference Tournament.
