Estelline/Hendricks 3, De Smet 0
DE SMET — Estelline/Hendricks improved to 18-2 with a sweep against De Smet on Thursday.

The Redhawks won the match with set scores of 25-18, 25-14 and 25-13.

Kenzy Beare recorded 17 kills to lead Estelline/Hendricks. Presly Bury had four aces, while Sadie Johnson tallied 14 assists and had a team-high 21 digs.

Claire Dagel and Beare each had two blocks for the Redhawks.

Hazel Luethmers had nine kills to lead De Smet, while Mirra Beck and Every Schoenfelder finished with three and two kills, respectively.

Alyssa Asleson had four aces for the Lady Bulldogs, who are now 4-13. Luethmers and Megan Dylla each had an ace.

Dylla also tallied nine assists, while Asleson had five assists.

Defensively, Asleson had 13 digs for De Smet, while Brooke Jennings and Harper Anderson each had seven digs.

The Lady Bulldogs will host Iroquois/Lake Preston on Tuesday.

Clark/Willow Lake 3, De Smet 2
DE SMET — The Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones rallied after dropping the first two sets to score a five-set victory over the De Smet Bulldogs on the road on Tuesday.

Set scores for the Cyclones were 19-25, 18-25, 25-20, 25-16, and 15-5.

Clark/Willow Lake moves to 7-9 behind 16 kills and 11 blocks by Shay Michalski up front. Zoey Helkem dropped in three aces from the service line while Zoe Nichols paced the CWL offense with 34 assists and also had an ace at the service line.

Katie Larson led the Cyclones defense with 11 digs.

The Bulldogs fall to 4-12 despite a huge game from Hazel Luethmers with 21 kills, eight blocks, and three service aces. Megan Dylla set up the Bulldog offense with 26 assists and also scored four aces.

Mirra Beck topped the De Smet defense with 16 digs.

The Cyclones won the JV match 2-0.
