MILLER — The Sully Buttes Chargers downed the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders 3-0 Thursday night in non-conference volleyball action. Set scores for the Chargers, now 11-4, were 25-11, 25-17 and 25-14. SBA falls to 3-6 with the loss.
Lauren Wittler had eight kills and 14 digs to lead the Chargers. Rachel Guthmiller had four kills and four aces, while Angela Guthmiller had six aces and six assists in the match.
The Crusaders were led by Lindsey Wilken’s six kills, while Shariah Brockel added four. Susan Wilken had five assists and led SBA with 13 digs.
The two teams will meet again on Saturday, at the Mobridge Invitational Tournament.

Redfield-Doland 3, Deuel 0
CLEAR LAKE — Redfield-Doland used set scores of 25-18, 25-12 and 25-11 to sweep Deuel on Thursday.
Brianna Frankenstein was 16 of 16 serving with an ace for the Lady Pheasants, while Hannah Kuehn was 15 of 15 serving with an ace.
Addie Rozell led the attack for Redfield-Doland with 12 of 13 hitting and four kills, while Olivia Shantz had eight kills on 12 of 16 spikes. Kennedy Fast recorded a team-high 11 assists and had six digs.
Jaydyn TeGantvoort, Natalie Kellhoff and Saycia Sime each had two kills for Deuel. Kendra Damm was 9 of 9 serving and had 15 digs.
