Clark-Willow Lake 3, Florence-Henry 0
FLORENCE — The Clark-Willow Lake Cyclones pushed their season record to 8-3 Tuesday night, with a dominating 3-0 win over the Florence-Henry Falcons in volleyball action.
Set scores for the Cyclones were 25-16, 25-17 and 29-27.
Abbie Bratland and Janae Kolden each notched 10 kills in the match, and Bratland added 11 digs. Taylor Hartley handed out 23 assists in the game and also had three ace serves.
Florence-Henry, which falls to 1-9 with the loss was led by Mykcel Sprung’s eight kills and three blocks, while Brooke Stevens had nine assists. Kaylee Sumner had 18 digs to lead the defense.
C-WL will be back in action Thursday, when the Cyclones travel to Milbank.

WOONSOCKET — The Sanborn Central-Woonsocket Blackhawks put three players into double figure kills Tuesday night, as they dismantled the Wessington Springs Lady Spartans 3-1 in 281 Conference volleyball action. Set scores for the Blackhawks were 25-21, 25-14, 14-25 and 25-15.
Tesa Jensen led the hitters for the Blackhawks, registering 14 kills on the night and adding a block. Erica Howard had 12 kills and added an ace serve, while Shannon Linn had 11 kills and four blocks, as SC-W pushed its record to 6-5 on the season.
Madi Moody handed out 26 assists, made 17 digs and had an ace serve as well.
The Lady Spartans got eight kills and nine digs from Maddie Neely, while Makayla Dornbush added four kills and had a pair of aces. Chasity Vissia passed out 12 assists and had a trio of aces while Piper Jones had a block and two aces.
Wessington Springs, which falls to 2-4 with the loss, will travel to Crow Creek on Thursday, while the Blackhawks will host Oldham/Ramona-Rutland on Saturday in Forestburg.

TULARE — The Hitchcock-Tulare Lady Patriots pushed their season record to 6-4 Tuesday night, with a 3-1 win over the Aberdeen Christian Knights in non-conference volleyball action.
Set scores for the Lady Pats were 25-22, 28-26, 17-25 and 25-16.
Cassidy Johnson had six kills and a service ace to lead Hitchcock-Tulare, while Ashley Masat added four kills. Trajan Fliehe had 13 digs to lead the defense. Kenidee Enander passed out 23 set assists for the Lady Patriots.
Aberdeen Christian was led by Mary Fites with nine kills. Kaylee Block had six aces and handed out 19 set assists. Hannah Gross had four kills and two aces, while accounting for 18 digs. Joy Rohrback had 27 digs for the Knights.
Hitchcock-Tulare hosts Highmore-Harrold Thursday night in Hitchcock-Tulare.
