HURON — The Arlington Cardinals swept the Wolsey-Wessington Lady Warbirds with a 3-0 in the Region 3B Volleyball Tournament Thursday night at James Valley Christian.
Set scores for the Cardinals, now with a 22-9 season record, were 25-10, 25-10 and 25-23.
The Warbirds were led by Taylor Sprecher who was 9 for 9 with two aces and hit six kills, while Lizzi Brandt was 14 for 15 with one ace and four kills. Raquel Nelson was 7 for 7 with one ace and two kills, while Shayla Muilenburg was 94 for 95 with 14 assists.
The Cardinals were led by Angela Fuhr who hit 13 kills and two blocks, while Lindsey Rowbotham was 13 for 15 with six aces and hit four kills. Jayna Haufschild was 13 for 13 with five aces, hit nine kills, one block and 16 digs.

Deubrook Area 3, Hitchcock-Tulare 0
HURON — The Deubrook Area Lady Dolphins took a 3-0 win against the Hitchcock-Tulare Lady Patriots in the Region 3B Volleyball Tournament at James Valley Christian on Thursday night.
The Dolphins, now 24-7 on the season, had set scores of 25-21, 25-12 and 26-24.
The Patriots were led by Baylee Enander with 11 kills and 21 digs, while Ally Binger had 1 ace and hit three kills. Sydney Maynard hit six kills and two blocks, Camryn Binger was 55 for 55 with 18 assists and Kennidee Enander made 14 assists.
Shaylee DeBeer led the Dolphins with four aces, 14 kills and 17 assists, while Ashlyn Vandermeer had three aces and 13 kills. Sarah Vrevig had two aces and 20 assists, while Shelby Andrews hit six kills.
Deubrook will continue to the Sweet 16 tournament, which will be held on Tuesday.
