LINCOLN, Neb. — Barbara Joan (Schroeder) Frye, 72, of Lincoln, Neb., passed away, June 3, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, at St. Mark’s Methodist Chapel, 8550 Pioneers Blvd, Lincoln, Neb.
Barbara was born December 10, 1944, in Huron, to George and Eunice (Miller) Schroeder. She grew up on a farm in the Huron area, attended a rural elementary school and graduated from Huron High School in 1962.
She married George H. Frye Jr. on September 20, 1964 at the Methodist Church in Huron.
She is survived by her husband, George; four daughters and their spouses, Michelle and Mark Aldenifer, Christine and Jerry Morningstar, Stacey and James Waters, and, Marci and Darrell Jones; 12 grandchildren; two brothers and their spouses, Leonard and Marion Schroeder, and Marvin and Natalie Schroeder; two sisters and their spouses, Phyllis and Norman Walters, and Garnett and Garland Woldt; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and their spouses and children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and her grandparents.
