HURON — With one new positive case in Tuesday’s numbers from the South Dakota Department of Health (DOH), Beadle County now has 2/3 of the Heartland Region’s active cases. Granted, that isn’t as bad as the number initially looks.
The state added 29 new positive cases, one new death, and 41 new recovered cases in Tuesday’s DOH numbers. That bumped the active cases in the state down to 229.
Beadle County added one new positive case, just the second of the month for the county. That brought Beadle’s active case number up to six.
The Heartland Region had just one new positive among the seven counties in the region and three new recovered cases, bringing the active cases down into single digits, at nine.
