HURON — After one new death reported by the South Dakota Department of Health (DOH) on Monday and Tuesday, Beadle County moved to 45 total COVID-19 deaths.
Tuesday’s DOH report indicated 718 new positive cases statewide along with eight new deaths and 943 new recovered cases. Active cases in the state are at 5,392.
Beadle reported eight new positive cases, one new death, and four new recovered cases. The active cases in the county moved up to 82.
The Heartland Region added 11 new positive cases, one new death, and 21 new recovered cases. Active cases in the seven-county region are at 158. The death brought the region’s total to 120 during the pandemic.
