BelieveFest planned Aug. 12 at Washington School

Posted

BelieveFest is a school supply give- away for families with financial need organized by Huron First United Methodist and Riverview United Methodist Churches and supported by area UMC’s.
On Saturday Aug. 12 from 9 to 11 a.m., children from all area schools and their families are invited to Washington School, 1451 McClellan Dr., to pick out school supplies they need.

To gather the supplies needed, donations of school supplies and/or money to purchase the supplies are requested.
BelieveFest has received donations from numerous businesses in the community, and they have also received grants from the Huron Community Foundation and Christen Hohm Lusk Foundation.
Those who would like to support this effort may give donations to the Huron FUMC, located at 2660 Dakota Ave. S. School supplies and cash donations with checks made out to BelieveFest are all appreciated!
If you have any questions or would like to volunteer on Aug. 12 to help distribute school supplies during the event, call 352-8604.
