The Huron Volunteer Fire Department, represented by deputy chief Chad Crandall, right, recently donated $4549.82 to the Salvation Army’s Lt. Kaylie Darrow and Lt. Matthew Darrow. The money was raised on December 13th during their annual Bell Ringing night. Each year before Christmas firefighters from Huron and Cavour ring bells on Dakota Ave., to raise money for the local Salvation Army. Thank you to all who donated and participated. Without the community’s generosity, it would be unable to continue this event.
