REDFIELD — Bernadine Marie (Zell) Wiles, 90, of Redfield, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018, at the Redfield Care and Rehabilitation Center in Redfield.
Her funeral service will be 2:30 p.m., Thursday, November 1, at Hyke Funeral Home in Redfield. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery at Frankfort.
Bernadine Marie Zell was born October 4, 1928, near Doland to Melvin and Susan (Rouse) Zell. She graduated from Frankfort High School in 1946.
She was united in marriage to Evan Wiles in 1947. She worked at Lampes Market in Huron for five years. The couple moved from Sioux Falls to Redfield in 2001. She enjoyed drawing, refinishing antique furniture and growing irises.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Richard) Schuttler of Rapid City; granddaughter, Harmony (Matthew Klahn) Schuttler of San Francisco, Calif.; and sister, Laura (Boyer) Eidsness of Grinnell, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband; siblings, Geraldine (Whirley) Starkey, Walter, Joseph, and Fredrich Zell; and grandson, Alexander Wiles Schuttler.
