ABERDEEN — Betty Farmer, 90, of Aberdeen, formerly of Huron, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018, at ManorCare Health Services in Aberdeen.
A private family graveside service will be held Friday, March 30, in the Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.   
Betty French was born on September 12, 1927, in Bonilla to Carl and Edna (Parkinson) French. She worked for Swift & Company, and Raven Industries.
She was united in marriage to Louis Farmer February 14, 1948, in Huron. The couple lived in Huron until 2004, when she moved to Aberdeen after Louis’ passing to be closer to her family.
She enjoyed going to races with her husband and playing cards.  She was a “people person” and loved to spend time with her family and friends.
 She is survived by her children, Larry Farmer, and Linda (Terry) Wolff both of Aberdeen; granddaughters: Traci (Scott) Musland of Edgeley, N.D. and their children, McKaden and Keyahna; and Toni (Dustin) Lotton of Jamesville Minn. and their children, Daultin and Trendin; brother, Jack (Gerri) French of S.C.; brother-in-law, Kenneth Farmer of Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
 Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; four brothers; and a brother in infancy.
