HURON — Beverly Lynd, 84, of Huron, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019, at the Huron Regional Medical Center.
Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 25, at the Kuhler Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Kuhler Funeral Home, with her family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday evening.
Beverly Joan Thompson was born September 24, 1934, in Lebanon, Kan. to John E and Leila (Bloomer) Thompson. She was united in marriage to J.D. Lynd May 31, 1953. She enjoyed being a mother to her four children, supporting them in all of their sports and 4-H activities, as well as the Huron Rodeo Association. She attended the First Baptist Church and the Western Way Cowboy Church.
She is survived by her children, James (Wendy) Lynd of Vacaville, Calif., Connie (Scott) Miller of Denver, Colo., Dennis Lynd of Huron, and Darrin (Danette) Lynd of Urbandale, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Martha Collier, Thelma Marsden, Lynn Thompson and Wayne Merrill “Bud” Thompson; and her husband, J.D.
