Thursday morning was busier than normal in the 101,000 square foot addition going up at Trussbilt, as four 102-foot crane components were unloaded. Each crane is made up of two of the huge beams, which will move product the length of the new addition, mounted on wheels set on large i-beams. Trussbilt Chief Operating Officer Mark Harvey said that installation of the cranes is scheduled for Monday at the facility. While the beams were unloaded on the north end of the addition, a constant convoy of trucks brought concrete to the south end. Harvey said the project is on schedule for the addition to be in use in April.
