Bischoff, Lee re-elected to Huron School Board

HURON — Incumbents Garret Bischoff and Craig Lee were re-elected to their seats on the Huron School Board Tuesday, in a light turnout at the polls.
Drew Palmquist challenged Bischoff and Lee.
Bischoff garnered 247 votes and Lee received 240 of the ballots cast. Palmquist was a distant third with 48 votes.
Bischoff and Lee will be sworn in during the first school board meeting of the school district’s new fiscal year, scheduled for July 8.
Voter turnout was calculated at 2.97 percent for the school board election.
