Building partnerships...

Building strong and sustainable business partnerships is key to the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program success at Huron High School.

Recently, the Huron School District partnered with Builders FirstSource building supply center in Huron.

In addition to the partnership, Builders FirstSource manager Dustin Christianson, pictured on right holding the oversize check with HHS CTE instructor Matt Busch, is a CTE advisory board member, representing Architecture and Construction.

“Business and industry leaders bring unique perspectives and provide valuable input on industry standards and foundational competencies,” said Jolene Konechne, the Director of CTE for the Huron School District.

“We thank Justin for his involvement and Builders FirstSource for their continued investment into CTE, the Huron School District and our students.”
