HURON — Huron radio station Big Jim 93.3 is teaming up with Foreigner and the S.D. State Fair, to provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a local high school choir.
The classic rock band Foreigner will perform at the State Fair on Saturday, Sept. 1, and the band is seeking a local high school choir to join them onstage for their smash hit “I Want to Know What Love Is.”
Music directors are encouraged to send a video clip of their high school choir singing any Foreigner song for a chance to win. Deadline to enter is April 17, and all videos will be posted on the Big Jim website later this month. The choir that receives the most votes will be the winner.
E-mail your video or a link to smartin@bigjimrocks.com.
The band can accommodate up to 25 kids and 6 adult chaperones. Foreigner will donate $500 to the winning high school’s chorus program.
