WESSINGTON SPRINGS — Calvin Hinrichs, 68, of Wessington Springs, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019, at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday July 18, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church with a scripture service at 6:30 p.m. and one hour prior to the service.
Calvin Jay Hinrichs was born April 30, 1951, in Wessington Springs to Matthew and Anna Ione (Faulhaber) Hinrichs. He graduated from Lane High School in 1969. He was united in marriage to
Marilyn Hohn August 6, 1971. They made their home in Wessington Springs. He enjoyed a career driving semi truck and was currently working at J&M Specialties Parts Store.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; son, Jody (Susanne) Hinrichs, of Brainerd, Minn.; three granddaughters; brothers, Tom (Laurel), Allen, David, and Mike; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Calla Jean Hinrichs.
