MILLER — Carol Ann Waight, 62, of Miller, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Carol Ann Waight, the daughter of George and Ida (Fail) Martin was born on April 28, 1958, in Albany, Georgia.
Carol loved gardening, was a hard worker, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a talented singer and sang in several quartets.
She is survived by her children, Greg Parker of Independence, Mo., and Julie Cochran of Miller; two grandchildren, Zander Fells of Miller, and Brooklynn Parker of Independence, Mo.; two brothers, Jerry (Judy) Martin of Wolsey, and Mike (Sue) Shea of Iroquois; one sister, Naomi (Gene) Williams of Charleston, S.C.; and many nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and a sister.
