CONNERSVILLE, Ind. — Carol Ann Palmer Lewis, 72, of Connersville, Ind., passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018, after a year of battling with cancer.
Visitation for Carol will be held Saturday, December 10, from 12 until 2 p.m., at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home, located at 513 W. 8th St., Connersville. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. The graveside service will be held in Dale cemetery.
She is the daughter of the late Martin and Laverne (Meyer) Palmer of Huron.
She worked several years at D&M rack plant. She loved going to bingo and spending time with family, especially her kids. You would never catch her without a Coke and her Winstons. She helped everyone who needed it, and was always there if you needed her to listen. She was Mom and Grandma to so many.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jerry Lewis; a daughter, Tammy Jo (Dale) Lewis; a son, Mark Lewis; three granddaughters, Amanda (Danny) Angel, Sarah Steele, and Angela (Sean) Haggerty; two grandsons, Chris Lewis and Michael Steele; four great-granddaughters, Alexis and Gracie Angel, Pyper Lewis, and Aliyah Haggerty; two great-grandsons, Jacob Steele and Cayden Haggerty; three brothers, Lanny (Kathy) Palmer, Danny Palmer, and Kenny (Millie) Palmer; a sister, Sylvia (Carl) Wickland; a brother-in-law, Jesse Foust; as well as their families and many friends.
Along with her parents, she is awaited in heaven by her brothers, Jerry, Richard, and Gene Palmer; and a sister, Diane Foust.
